How to Wear: Christmas fringe

Each month we highlight a product from our shop, suggesting three different ways to style the garment for different occasions. For December we decided to go with some cheerful fringe, taking inspiration from icy snow shades and all the festive colours in the streets.

Christmas is the season to celebrate – work parties, celebrating with friends and new years of course. The little black dress is a classic when it comes to celebrating. Hellen’s Marill dress is a fresh take on the little black dress; its fringe and silicone trimming give you just the right amount of edge. Take the elegance and warm shine of the streetlights inside with glowing golden accents in your eye make-up and accessories. Pair it with black heels and tassel earrings complementing the fringe and this outfit will give you a radiant aura.

red

If things are a little bit more casual, pair your Marill skirt with an oversized knitted sweater. This combination is a great base for a lot of occasions. Dress it up with hues of red as a tribute to all the red Christmas ornaments hanging from the trees. Burgundy heels and a dark red lip are a great option for an evening with your friends or a dinner with colleagues. Without the heels and the red lip it is also a great option for a dinner at home.

Christmas time also means family time of course. Staying at home all day, drinking eggnog and unwrapping presents – that’s the true Christmas spirit. Imagine Christmas morning at home and the world outside your window is coated with ice and powdery snow. That’s the time to wear your Marill skirt with a delicate lace top and a winter white cardigan. Don’t worry about the cold: the knit in the skirt and cardigan will keep you warm and comfy. And on top you can always combine it with your favourite coat and boots for a romantic winter walk.

With this in mind we wish you a lovely and warm Christmas time! Happy holidays everyone!
