Catwalk Show Don’t Walk

In the midst of all things going on with our 2 presentations in Milan at the moment, we don’t want to forget our participation in the catwalk show at the Don’t Walk charity fashion event in Scotland that takes place on the 27th of Febuary!

The event will host catwalk shows by established and emerging designers, amongst them this year is Vivienne Westwood. In past editions were Lanvin, Rick Owens & Michael Kors.

A little more information on the concept of Don’t Walk:
In the wake of the 9/11 attacks in 2001, a multinational group of St Andrews students, 3000 miles from the epicentre, decided to respond. DONT WALK was born. A symbolic response in essence, its spirit youthful and cosmopolitan, unafraid and unbound by rules. Since the birth of DONT WALK, the underlying message has remained constant: combining the mediums of art, fashion, and performance into a fashion show that challenges all forms of violence. Challenge all forms of structural inequality by influencing both public discourse and contributing to organisations that support education and conflict prevention efforts. Like supporting the Robin Hood Foundation, which focuses on solving the problems created by social-economicimbalance.

Over the past 14 years DONT WALK has grown into the largest invite only student run charity fashion show. This year marks the 15th anniversary. www.dontwalkfashion.com
